Regardless of which option you choose, you can count on their underwear to look and feel very similar to your regular underwear, with the exception of the liner, which is thicker than it is on a non-period pair. The coverage is certainly discreet, no one would ever know that we were wearing them!

The liner is made with a 100% absorbent cotton and dri-tech mesh and they are made in the USA, which is always a nice touch. Depending on your flow, you can wear them alone, with a tampon, with a pad, or with a menstrual cup. Similar to their underwear, you can choose to wear their swimwear with or without additional protection in the form of their optional pad, a tampon, or a menstrual cup. For reference, when you pair their swimwear with their double-sided pad, you get up to 6 tampons of absorption!

The Dri-tech mesh helps to stop all leaks from every angle and will keep the pad in place if you choose to wear one. The best part is that there will be no swelling in the water! So no need to worry about having the sogging diaper look when you emerge from the water. They also have a teen swimwear line for younger girls who need protection in the water.

Upon reading the negative reviews, I discovered that the main complaint was that the underwear “didn’t work.” It’s important to note that everyone has a different flow, and what works for one woman may not work for the next. Not everyone will be able to totally eliminate the need for pads and tampons but may feel more confident knowing that their underwear provides an extra layer of protection from their clothing. Other women with lighter flows may be able to get away with not using any additional products, it all depends on each unique person.
